Can menopause cause irregular blood sugar levels for a diabetic?

Not if you are following a proper diet and if it is needed taking your insulin as you should. Insulin is produced in the adrenal glands, located just above each kidney. The adrenal glands are what control insulin. Your hormones are created within your endocrine system, which consist of Pineal gland, pituatary gland, thyroid gland, para-thyroid gland, thymus gland, adrenal glands, ovaries and testies. They all have different jobs. Look up Endocrine System on your search engine for a better understanding.
