Can a speeding ticket be mailed to my house if it wasn't issued on site?

I was driving on route 80 in Pennsylvania near Scranton and i got pulled over for 82 in a 65 the police officer took my license and registration, went back to his car and took a while making his way back. When he finally came back to my car he handed me my license and registration told me to buckle up and slow it down. he never handed me a ticket. Then after i started driving down route 80 there was another vehicle pulled over by a different state trooper(he had the kids pulled out of the car and was searching there car) and the one who pulled me over stopped to ist. i just want to know if there is any chance that he can mail me the ticket.
