Cell using dialysis tubing. starch, glucose, iodine?

If you made a cell using dialysis tubing and were to put the cell in a beaker. what would you happened if you filled a cell with starch indicator solution and a beaker with starch and glucose, how would the results differ from filling the cell with starch and glucose and the beaker with iodine and water?
