I'm really worried and a bit confused.?

My best friend's husband had a mive heart attack and stoke last week. He is paralyzed on his left side. He was unable to talk. In fact, they wanted his wife to "pull the plug" Well, surprise, surprise, he did it on his own and is breathing on his own ever since. She refused to do it. Today she called me and told me that they transferred him to another hospital because he had chest pains. They found out that he has a hole in his heart and it seems he was born with it. The one thing she was really baffled about and frankly, so am I, is that she was holding his paralyzed hand while he was sleeping and she said he was in a very sound sleep. Well he squeezed her hand tightly and then lifted his arm but as soon as he woke up, he couldn't move it. It was like if his subconscious was working, but his conscious mind would not. Is this possible? This is not in my field of expertise. Granted I worked in Geri-Psych and took care of stroke patients, but they usually came to me when they were alert, well somewhat, and at least able to move their limbs, Never have I seen this. Does anyone who works with stoke patients know what I'm talking about? I've known this man longer than his wife did. He was my brother's best friend and he was always like a brother to me. I want to be able to give his wife some answers because the fool Doctors aren't saying anything helpful to her. Can anyone give me some clue what's going on? Thank you..

Like everyone could tell..and I like practically gave her the world. Before we broke up we were getting more intimate then before. I was liking that because I felt so comfortable, and you know us human beings :D ha. Anyways! she leaves hints here & there, & so do I. What I wanna know is, should I ask her? Can we mess around for the last time? I don't wanna go all the way, even though that lust. but there is something that wants me to just play with her...should I do it or not? 10 dpo, faint BFP, ectopic symptoms?

So hubby and I have been trying to get pregnant since the holidays upon his return home from an overseas deployment and yesterday I got a very faint second line on an hpt after lots of symptoms. (lots of creamy cm, sensitive to smells...my stomach turned when i walked into the kitchen while hubby was preparing burgers...something about the smell of raw meat and pickle juice didnt sit well.. moody, odd appetite, fatigue, bloating, sore and veiny , etc) However, ever since 7dpo, Ive been having really frequent tugging pains(not unbearable, just uncomfy) on the lower right side of my abdomen off and on also making the right side of my lower back hurt really bad(the back pain is worse than the tugging cramps) I do know that this is a symptom of ectopic pregnancy since its only one one side and I never experienced the tugging pain except in my mid abdomen at about 6-8 weeks during my first pregnancy. I'm not considered at risk because I'm 23, healthy, non smoker, never had any sort of infection or any kind of artificial hormone stuff (we are nfp users), but I'm still very worried. My doctor cannot see me until this coming week this time to do bloodwork and such, but is this a symptom that is common to healthy pregnancies as well? I'm planning on seeing my Dr regardless, I just need some info to get me through the weekend and either put me at ease or let me know that I'm not just being paranoid.

MIlitary Recruiters-especially Navy recruiters!?

Hey, I was supposed to meet with a recruiter last week but that didnt work out. So I'm meeting with one on Wednesday! I'm tryna get into the Navy DEP so that way, I can prepare my situation for the next semester. My body fat is at 35% or 34% on a good day and I'm wondering will they take me to MEPS? I've been to MEPS before this past summer for the army and I didn't make tape. I was at 38%. I'm still working on it, but my clock is ticking and going to MEPS now and getting a ship date will help a great deal because that will determine whether I'm going back to school next semester or if I'm gonna move back home with my dad and work until I ship out. I've read on various sites and even the MEPS doctor (when i went to meps for the army) told me I could DEP in the navy at 36%. So I'm just wondering will my recruiter make me lose the weight before I go to MEPS or afterwards? I'm working on it, but as you can see, I have a unique situation. Of course I want to lose weight, I'm just tryna map things out! I'm going to meet him on Wednesday but I'm just anxious. Wish me good luck!

Does crate/kennel training work for potty training?

I recently got a 6 month old pomeranian. he is not fully potty trained. he hasnt pooped in my apt yet but he definitely has peed more than a few times. i just bought some puppy pee pads and he just immediately shreds them to pieces. i can tell they are not for him. he will just ingest the materials which could lead to even bigger problems. i also bought some odor eliminating spray to help not encourage to keep marking where he has peed. i have heard that crate/kennel training while im gone during the day can help with potty training and teaching him to only go outside by immediately taking him outside when i get home. has anyone done this to ist with potty training? or any other suggestions? help!

OMG!! My baby has been nursing for almost 4 hours!!?

We just bought a 1997 Plymouth Voyager the oil light stays on & beeps constantly, any help?

Before we drove it, we changed the oil, the oil filter, and cleaned out the radiator. We also replaced the sensor for it. After all of this the light never came back on. We drove it about an hour or so on the highway and on the way home it came on again. On the way, we were at a stop light and the oil light stayed on, but the beeping stopped then all of a sudden the vehicle just turned itself off. How to avoid bronchitis if i feel it coming on?

7 weeks pregnant please help?

I am currently 7 weeks pregnant. high risk. i have seen my baby on the ultrasound quit a few times. and there is always a heart rate and its a strong heart beat that keeps getting stronger each time and the baby is growing. the G Sac is measuring 4 days behind but they said thats fine well my problem is that i have been having my hcg checked and they have been doubling every 2-3 days untill this last time it was 25000 and then the following tuesday it only went up to 37000 so it didnt even double in 3-4 days. But the same day that last one was taken they did an ultra sound and the baby had grew and the heart rate is cont. to rise. they said the baby looked great. so shoudl i worry with this hcg levels? i have also had really bad cramps this entire pregnancy...its my second(well 4th but had two misscarriages) if you have had a similar problem please let me know the outcome of it. i am so scared that im going to loose this baby. please help

so i just started my period last thursday/friday. today i had off from softball but tommarow i have a tournament in napa. which is 2 games. one at 9 30 and the other at 11 i think so ill be done by 1. i wear softball pants and one pair is white and one is navy. im praying that theyll choose navy pants to wear! i also wear sliders so if theres an bleeding mishap hopefully my sliders will stop it. this is only my real 2nd period ever and idk what to do. i wear regular pads but they stick out and are like diapers and suuuuck. my mom today just bought me tampons (slim tampex pearls) and i dont think ill have a problem with those. i have a pretty light period. but its enough. should i try tampons tonight and then if nothing goes wrong wear them tommarow? or should i wait and still use pads? i know they have a restroom at this tournament. but if i have a tampon in i shouldnt have to change it right? if i dont bleed alot. from 7 30 to 2 15 is about 6 hours. should i have to change it? it would be sooooo much easier if i didnt have too. i dont bleed alot. like i used a pantyliner and i bleed and it didnt even soak to my panties. what should i do?

We have recently remodeled our bathroom, from retiling the floors to building our own custom shower. But I have a problem. It is the bathroom that our three young sons use. They dont have the best aim and there is a constant puddle of urine behind the toilet. I wipe it up as soon as I see it, but the grout is getting white spots in it. So I just started a new school. I'm in the eighth grade you see, and at our school seventh and eighth graders are in the same building as the highschoolers. Well this guy asked me to be my friend on facebook. I didn't know him but I added him which I usually don't due, but I gave it an exeption due to curiousity. Can someone please help me troubleshoot my old DFI AK76-SN Motherboard?

Ok. Here is the problem. It was running fine but not great so I switch to a newer power supply of the same watt power. While doing so, I must have brought my computer down from being upright to on its side. But after I tried turning on my computer which it did turn on. The screen gives me a No Signal Error. I've had that before and solved it a few times but this one just wont go away. I've tried switching out memory to see if that was the problem, disconnect everything and then reconnect everything save for the CPU fan and heatsink, And still get a No Signal Error. After that, I just removed everything to the basics: the RAM, Video Card, and Power Supply. Still get a No Signal Error. What is funny about this one is I know the motherboard still works because I have a pci lan card that has an led that comes on when power is supplied to it. And everything runs fine after being plugged back in. And still, I get a No Signal Error. I even switched back to the original power supply too. I've also tried clearing the CMOS a few times by Jumper Setting. Still No Signal error message on the screen. I've tried just about everything and this one has me stumped. Can anybody help?

America a Bigoted Country?

Right. A friend of mine (who looks asian but is 3d generation USA prime) went to the UK for 6 weeks and almost came home early because of the racial prejudice there--the only time any white person every talked to her was when they were trying to pick her up or when they wanted money from her. Even the hotel reception clerks had this anti-American thing going on. The only ones who treated her decently were the Rastas. Another friend (also asian) touring BudaPest got rocks and trash thrown at her & her black friend and they were just walking around being regular tourists. Everyone I know who looks ethnic has had problems traveling in European countries because of the bigotry--it's not always blatant, a lot of it tends to be shutting you out (physically turning their back to you and pretending you aren't there so you get no service, you can't ask for help, etc.). The US has pockets of extremist bigotry, and many people still secretly harbor distrusts for certain ehnic folks, but usually once you are accepted by your neighbors/community your race no longer seems to matter (as much). I think you probably find more inter-racial mixing in the US, more people who have racially diverse ancestry. I think racial diversity is great because each culture brings something special to your life. The US is far from perfect and I doubt we'll ever be able to say we no longer have any bigotry, but it does seem to be trying.

Should I bother being nice to my lecturer?

The head of my department in university is the most ignorant person I have ever met. She completely ignores us on the corridor and is very rude to us when lecturing in cl. I feel as though I have to be nice to her in order to get a good grade as whenever someone questions her she looks far from impressed. Unfortunately, the Aveeno Positively Radiant Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 only comes with two shades. But you can mix the two shades together to find your perfect shade. It cover up scars and blemishes pretty well, for me it cover ups about 70% of it. Although, I do set it with the Maybelline Pure Stay Powder Foundation SPF 15 in 20 Buff. Depend on which tinted moisturizer you buys the shades varies, unlike Aveeno the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer(tinted moisturizer) comes with 6 different shades and the Covergirl Smoothers SPF 15 Tinted Moisturizer comes with 4 shades. So as you can tell some comes with more than others, but not enough till everybody can find their exact shades. If you have a really deep skin tone a tinted moisturizer won't be the best choice, I would say that if you have pale to medium complexion a tinted moisturizer might be one of your choices. The 3 famous drugstores ones that I have heard and hear many good things about is the Neutrogena, Aveeno and Covergirl tinted moisturizers. Although, I would have to say that some people says that the Covergirl tinted moisturizer doesn't give them any coverage, so I would say that the Covergirl should be your last choice out of these 3. But there are some people that are swear by it.

Does my newborn have colic?

I have a 2-week old big guy (was 10lbs 5oz at birth)! I'm using formula because feeding didn't work out for us (he was never satisfied). We used Good Start in the hospital and it seemed to work well, but we changed to Parent's Choice Premium when we got home because it was on the cheaper side but just as good as Enfamil. We noticed a few days after using that he was a little gy (farting alot and fussy), so we tried Parent's Choice Sensitive...but within 6 hours he was screaming and crying after drinking 2oz, so after changing him, burping him, swaddling him, everything...we gave him 2oz more and he was quiet. We changed back to the Parent's Choice Premium because I didn't like how he was acting on the Sensitive. SOOOO...about a week later now, he's acting the same again. About 15min after a feeding, he's screaming bloody murder and we've tried EVERYTHING to soothe him...as soon as we put another bottle in his mouth, he's quiet. What's going on here?? We're using NUK bottles with airflow technology. He eats an average 23oz in 24 hours and sleeping about 11 hours in 24 hours. I've tried giving him gripe water, but it didn't work and he broke out a little on his face! I'm seeing his pediatrician tomorrow but wanted advice to hold me over until then! Thank you!!

Two paintings need some info. about?

I have two painting that were given to me and my husband from his father. His father worked in a museum in London and was given two paintings, his father handed down the painting to us. One is By "Murillo" and the title is "boys eating fruit" The painting itself has a paper sticker on the back which says fine art, then Title, artist, and no.1216. The frame for this picture was done here in the US. But I would like to know more about if the picture is something worth value or just a reproduction? The other picture is I believe by "Edgar Degras" of "Little girl carrying flowers in her apron" it does not have a sticker on the back, but the weird thing with this picture is that it is identical to the original but the girl has lighter skin and lighter hair. So if anyone could give me some info. on these paintings I would be so grateful. Thanks

When the album first came out, they had a limited addition ray gun box set with the cd, bracelet, one of hte four ray guns and killjoy mask. I am making one out of wood carving it and it's a pain. Interested in becoming Independent Virtual istant (VA); however am having trouble coming up with a catchy name for my sole-proprietorship. In short a VA is a person or company that completes a variety of administrative tasks virtually.
